listings moving to inactive

Anyone else have an issue with new listings being moved to inactive about 5 minutes after creating them?

I'm creating new listings by copying previously sold out similar items to save time with descriptions and tags, they go live but then move to inactive for no reason. If I move them back they stay live but it is a pain to have to keep checking what Etsy is doing, it also messes up our inventory management and link to our stand alone shopify shop.  the listings are for fabric bundles, nothing against any rules, no contentious tags etc.

is this just us, or another well crafted Etsy feature ?

Are you sure it is not Etsy removing them?  What exactly did you list, anything with trademarked names?

That happened to me once when I described glass beads as being "amber" colored in a necklace I listed a few years ago. (amber stone beads generally can't be sold here due to safety concerns for babies, and etsy bots picked up the word "amber").

Something in your listing triggered etsy to deactivate it. What was the listing for?

All bundles of fabric, all with different tags and titles, no trade mark issues  ! - has now done it to the last 10 new listings.

Are you using some kind of third party integration to manage your stock levels and synch with your Shopify store? That could be what's messing up your listing status.

As you're copying sold listings are you remembering to update the amount available?

While you can resell licensed fabric in it's original unaltered state you are using the trademark name, such as Batman, etal  in your listing. There may be an Etsy bot that is picking up on that and "thinks" (as well as bots can think) that you are infringing.

Do the  listings when they appear in your inactive file have a note that says "Deactivated by Etsy?" IF so I would not relist until this is straightened out.
