I have not been able to see preview when inputting a new listing for quite some time. Does anyone else have this problem?
I've not used Preview since starting on Etsy in 2011. If I have a lot of edits, I will Renew Sold or Copy > Edit. Then Deactivate the listing, make my edits without using Preview. Then I will Reactivate it.
If I just have a couple quick edits, I will do it on a live listing.
Hope this helps.
I have never used preview. I publish or edit my listing and then make a quick check.
@NanaLetha I do exactly the same thing! I've never used preview either!
@CooperStation: Are you experiencing this using an Etsy app (on which operating system) or via mobile browser or desktop browser (which browser and operating system)? It makes a difference as to possible causes and potential solutions, otherwise we have to guess.
I always preview and I've not had a problem. I always list on my Mac, rather than the app, if that helps.
Hi @CooperStation I've just had a look at mine using my chromebook and it's letting me preview before I publish.
Can't Preview. Can't Publish. Can't Save As Draft. In other words - I can't get a new listing published at all. What's going on with Etsy?? Using PC and Windows 11.
@Booth88 that usually means you've not filled something in that is required.
I usually start from a copy of an existing listing and just edit it - see if that helps. Just make sure you copy first so you don't change an active listing.
Preview has not worked for me for months now on my desktop PC in chrome.
If you're listing in the mobile view (not the app) you have to switch over to desktop view to preview, it's been like that for a long time now.
Me too, and when I emailed support, I go a total autobot response that showed that nobody had actuall read my issue! Waiting for a reply...
Often the first response you get from customer support is an automated reply meant to weed out the people who contact support over common issues that can be easily solved.
Every eMail from Etsy support should have a link something like "I Still Need Help". Click on that link in each reply from Etsy (or actually reply stating that you still need help) to keep the report alive otherwise Etsy will assume that it is resolved. You may have to do this innumerable times, before anything is done but do not give up.
I've had no issues using the Preview, unless I failed to fill something in.
