a couple of hours ago i renewed a listing, #1282782984, and i can see the .20 charge on my payment account. the problem is the listing has disappeared. it isn't in expired, it isn't in active... when i click on the listing link that is shown in my payment account next to the charge, it says "sorry this listing is no longer available" and it doesn't even include a thumbnail pic and link to the listing where it usually does. something strange is going on here!
anyone else?
when i put that number in it says
Sorry, this item is unavailable.
it does not say it is no longer available.

hmmmmmmm!
What was the item? The Etsy bots never sleep. Could it be deactivated?
Etsy uses bots to automatically deactivate listings which it considers are problematic. Check your listings manager under 'inactive' and see if it says 'deactivated by Etsy'.
What was the item title and tags?
There has been mention of this happening when Etsy's image recognition ai catches something in the photo that triggers the bots to remove it. For example if you include a piece of candy with the copyright/trademark logo clearly visible in the photo of your product, while it can be an honest mistake it could be removed for infringing on that candy company by using their image in your visual marketing for your products. Could that be the possible cause?
Etsy regularly deactivates listings in this manner. At the moment of renewal, the bots send it to Deactivated. You'll have to figure out what the bots caught to see if it was legitimate, and if not, email Etsy and request they re-activate the item. Etsy may or may not send you an email about it.
