I couldn't be a star seller in August because of the unfairly given 1-star review in July. However, I objected to this in July, but my objection was answered on August 2 and Etsy removed the review. Unfortunately, I couldn't be a star seller because of the delayed response when I should have been a star seller right now. I demand that this situation be rectified.
We are only other Etsy sellers here - you are not talking to Etsy support.
We are other sellers so can’t do anything about it. You need to contact Etsy directly.
That does seem unfair.
The positive aspect is that you got an unfair review removed. A lot of sellers with unfair reviews have not been successful at doing that.
And you can try Etsy support to get your star seller stats for August recalculated now that the review has been removed.
@SweetHomeMirrorDecor: Not disagreeing with you that this is unfair, but Etsy's position has always been that Star Seller and badges are awarded based on the stats at the time of the calculation on the 1st of the month and changes to the underlying data may change your stats, but never retroactively. If you are able to get this remedied retroactively please be sure to update this thread.
To repeat what others have said, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts). You can open a support ticket through Dashboard > Community & Help > Contact Us
I am impressed that you managed to get an unfair review removed. I would take the good from that.

I have never heard of that before. Must have been something really wrong with the review.
There is much unfairness to the Star Seller system and apparently it just can't be helped. Sorry it happened to you.
