issues with refunding

Is there anyway to speak to someone at etsy?  This problem is far from getting answers on here. I tried to refund the customer 10% because they were repeat buyers.  Etsy denied my request and shows item still not shipped, but customer received the item in 3 days.  .. Any help would be appreciated.

@D2woodturning  Wait a minute.  Marking an item as completed is how you notate that it shipped.  Click the circle/arrow icon, and enter the tracking.

Then, it's also up to you to refund your Buyer any amount you want - has nothing to do with the shipping, and there is nothing for Etsy to "deny".

Click the three dots on the order - select refund (on PC/laptop - NOT the app) - then you'll see places (lower right) to type in the amount you want to refund.  Follow through with the " reason " box at the top, review and submit.  You'll be refunded a proportionate part of your fees, and the refund to the Buyer will come from your Payment Account if you currently have funds available or charge to your credit card if the finds have already been transferred to your bank.

Chances are anyone you'd reach in Support would send you a bunch of links on how to do what I just explained.

Any more help needed - I'll be happy to walk you through it!

Do you have enough funds in your payment account to cover the refund?  If not, Etsy takes the funds from your credit card on file. Has your credit card, by any chance, expired?  That is the only possible scenario I can think of why a refund might be denied.

This is your CC for billing when you do refunds like this - check to see if it's expired
