Oh Dear. Not another one? This has been happening a lot recently, especially to Shops which have been unattended for some time. The good news is that the "hackers" probably do not have access to your Banking or they would have change this to direct funds to themselves. But they are just listing stuff and then directing potential buyers to their website/s

Firstly, either remove or change banking information. Change the expiry date on your CC to a past / expired one to prevent any monies being deposited anywhere until this is sorted.

If you still have access, put the shop on vacation. You can also delete the listings.

To contact Etsy use Shop Manager > Community and Help > Contact us > Selling on Etsy > then just work through the list, Pick a Topic, pick a sub topic and then scroll to the bottom until you see "I still need help"

You should then be given Email / Chat / Request a Call options (one or more, but rarely 3)

If you do not get a contact option move to another Topic and try again.

Good Luck

There's a trick to finding ways to contact Etsy, and they don't make it easy for sellers to get there. This tip for beginners is also going to be good for experienced sellers who need to contact Etsy help and support. I'm Kara Buntin, and I'm a long-time Etsy seller with 3 shops and over 47,000 ...

Thank you, I've removed all my info from my site and put hacked everywhere so people will get the hint, I'd rather the account closed

@OneEyeCatStudio Not in any way wanting to downplay the seriousness of the OP's situation but my first thought when I saw

"how can I talk to a human"? was "If it is an "Etsy Human", you have to use "Etsy Speak". It is an entirely different language!!

Check the "Security" tab in the account area.  Find out if there is anyone else currently logged into your account and log out any you don't recognize.  Then turn on two factor identification.

since it became difficult to find the links for help, i’ve collected them when sellers mentioned they found help.  i hope one of these will work for you:

here is the link to the “how to contact support” from the seller’s handbook.

here is a link to initiate chat or email.

here is the link to request a callback.

or try this link or this link to email them.

if you do email them you *should* get an automated reply and once you do, you must reply to that email above the line of asterisks that their automated best guess solutions did not work. all you have to say is something like “i still need help” send the reply, and it should stay active.  it’s critical that you reply to the first email you receive and don’t send additional emails thinking it will speed things up (this actually slows things down.)

Great advice and helpful information.

Just bear in mind that not everyone is in the US and that the options available do change according to the Location of the Shop, time of day, Support Staff workload capacity, the Issue, past history and numerous other considerations.

But it is possible to contact someone if you persist and explore all options.

Sellers shouldn't have to post a tread like "how can I talk to a human?"

Go mad Etsy start implementing a real customer service department, after all that's what the increase in fees was for wasn't it?

Chat comes and goes and in my experience although they try to be helpful their knowledge is less than basic.

I agree. I can, usually, manage to contact a human on "Chat" but I can "Copy and Paste" from the Handbook faster than them.
