I received 2 warnings that I violated the hand made policy. My right to be a star seller was also taken away from me. Even though I read the hand made policies many times, I could not see that there was a policy violation. The support team was not helpful at all, they kept sending me a link to the hand made policy text. When I asked which hand made policy I violated, they said they would not tell me. This is ridiculous, I think bots are used for such violation notifications.

@MukoTeeprintstore

"I use POD on some shirt models to expand the product range, but not all."

Do you mean you make some of your products yourself? Actually sew your t-shirts using purchased images?

@Natalya1905

yeah I'm thinking the issue may be that etsy is seeing the exact same items in multiple shops and somehow that has triggered the removal.

For sure you are not supposed to be selling the exact same thing in 2 different shops, especially without disclosing it.  I bet in time at least one of the shops will be shut down.

If you purchase an infringing item, you still can't use it no matter what the seller says.

I resolved this issue by constantly asking for help. I never let go, insist on further refinement

Good luck with that, Etsy is not known for reacting to requests for further refinement, no matter how insistent.

You have had two warnings, I'd be surprised if you got a third, especially as it appears the first two were justified.

The only resolution likely is closure of your shop(s).

@BootifulLabels  I'm getting an "Uh-Oh" page, so maybe the issue has been resolved to Etsy's satisfaction?

“Friends” and I think pickleball are IP infringements.

Re: hand made policy violation notification

@sharonjenkins1

pickleball (at least in general) is not an IP infringement. I've done my research on this one since I made some pickleball buttons and wanted to be certain I could use it.

you can not use USA pickleball because that would be using the trademarked name of the pickleball association and could cause confusion as to whether your product is associated with it.

But the term pickleball can be used or images of a pickleball etc.

I didn't see the exact item but if it is fairly generic then it should be fine.

Re: hand made policy violation notification

A few shops are using your images and same mock ups. If it plays out well and they all end up being best sellers we could see an entire page of best sellers of the same item from multiple shops being all handmade.

Re: hand made policy violation notification

Her shop is showing "Uh,oh! Sorry, the page you were looking for was not found." So apparently, she either got banned or closed her store.

Her store name looks like she might have been selling POD shirts under the handmade category. You need to list POD under Made by Someone Else and Made to Order, not handmade, then list your print partner.
