glitch in message reply

  My new message alert stays on after Ive answered the message. My message stats are incorrectly being docked.

Is this happening to anyone else? Im at 92% while I answered questions onetime every time.

Yes, something is up. I was fine with the response rate and today I was not. I didn't get the badge and I went to 92% 

The only thing I can think of, is that I got an offer, from Etsy's offer thing, I responded to the offer, the customer purchased the item, but later on I noticed that it said that the customer was reaching out for the first time. I guess my response to the offer wasn't good enough?

@Pineneedlesweetgrass: Based on the numerous threads about this (as well as personal experience), the new message banner not going away appears to be only a user interface glitch which is not affecting any stats such as Star Seller.

@Pineneedlesweetgrass @DragonFireGlass  : The CSV file on your Star Seller page can answer your question about which new incoming Message thread Etsy thinks was not answered within 24 hours. When you look at the file remember that that the dates / times are in UTC (not your time zone), only the first message of a new incoming thread is included (all that counts for Star Seller), and usually a new incoming thread is not included until after the 24 hour reply window has passed regardless of when you replied. Star Seller stats (and the CSV file) update only once per day so there may be an additional day's delay. There is also a link to the actual message thread so you can verify if the data is correct or not.
