I have had several of my packages shown as wrong tracking numbers. These are all where i combined shipping on more than one order and entered the tracking. I double check all numbers before I submit. However its showing up as short numbers starting with a 3 on your end. THe postal codes in the us are long and start with a 9, This is effecting my star seller and if one of the buyers report they didnt get a package due to this glitch I will have to replace it for free. I need this fixed.
@Anniewreathsigns: We combine multiple orders into a single shipment all the time, and have never experienced issues as long as the same completed (shipped) date, shipping courier, and tracking number were entered on each order.

Long before Star Seller was even thought of, we got into the habit of spending a few minutes daily checking the previous day's shipments to make sure that they were at least "in transit" so if something was wrong we could fix it within the 72 hour window we are allotted.
"... on your end." Just so you know, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).
Are you shipping via FedEx? I think there was an issue awhile back with tracking numbers changing.
It sounds like a glitch in entering the numbers. Are you entering in manually or copying and pasting the numbers? Either way it is easy to miss. I always check the numbers but I also go back in the next day and check. If in error, I can fix the number. It has to be done within three days.
It is you that need to do the fixing. Check the number as entered. I also have someone check what I enter just to be sure and then I also check after the items have been taken to the post office to make sure it is updating. Are you asking for the items to be scanned? I always ask for a scan rather than rely on the post office performing this.
If any error is noted the seller has 3 days to correct the numbers.
It cannot be done after 3 days.
How often do you experience BIN purchases? And if the orders are in one box and the one box has the correct tracking number you may be okay. What I do is always tell the buyer I am combining the orders into one box. I put this notice on all note to buyers.
