first pictures all black - not visible!

Hi, when browsing via Etsy I noticed that some listings are all black - first picture is not visible ... I jumped into my shop and noticed the same! Is there something going on?

I have the same issue, black boxes and weird zoomed random first pics.

Same here, some black boxes instead of thumbnail pics. If you click on them the actual pics do show up normally on the full page though.

Same thing happening here. Some are black and some are white and some look like they’re stuck in a transition. Half they’re half gone. One is just blurry. The older listings seem to be affected more.

Tried the "fixes" clearing cache and restarting my computer.  Didn't work.  Come on Etsy tech team!

Now the first photo changed from black to white.

Edit your listing to adjust thumbnail to regular size (no enlargement) and it will at least show up.

TRY THIS:  Removed the first photo in the listing and uploaded again.  First photo is now normal on the landing page.

I reloaded mine several times before it "stuck". I just looked at it again, it's been about an hour, and it was all blacked out again : (

Yours looks fine as well. I got my one that hadn't stuck to "stick", hoping it stays that way!

The same effect is, to click at "Adjust thumbnail", sometime it's needing to save the adjusted thumbnail a few times, until the preview become OK and then save the listing.

All of the items in my own shop are showing up fine but when I visit yours there are a lot of solid black thumbnails. This is definitely a problem affecting certain listings rather than a browser issue or user error.

I was hoping that was the case but I just saw it in @imperfectlyworthy shop. Yesterday it looked fine, today there are many listings that have either black, brown or grey boxes.

#MeToo, Been having the issue for the last 24hrs roughly... random existing listings and new listings take many attempts, often having to settle for less than optimal framing.

having this same issues. A bunch of my draft listings are black boxes or completely zoomed in.  Please fix this, I'm trying to launch a new collection!
