I texted on etsy support just to be sure, but is unbelievable anyway.
When I said I could not believe that etsy needed my email etc they answered...

Let me know what do you think and if you received something similar.
Thank you xx
Glad you recognized this message for what it is, a scam. Put it in your spam folder so you don't get docked for star seller. There have been literally hundreds of reports of this in the last months.
This from another thread on it:
I'm going to post three threads that all sellers should read, two from Etsy and one I wrote:

Scams are currently rampant.

I received another scam text today with the Etsy Support name and Etsy logo profile image... I was pretty sure this is a scam again, but this time I decided to answer them instead of marking as spam.. maybe this could stop them to scam others.
I just did reply with this "
and it worked well! They deleted their account immediately Lol
I received another scam text today .
etsy does not text with sellers on the site.
maybe you meant *messaged* you.

Bonjour,
Je viens de recevoir ce message ( voir ci-dessous ) , a priori un fake ? ( puisqu'il ne vient pas de ma boite de messagerie ( De Etsy ))

Just had something similar by email and within the Etsy system, looks like Etsy support has been spoofed or hacked!
Etsy has not been hacked, this scam has been making the rounds for quite a while now.
If you look in your messages tab you will see that this convo did not come from Etsy. Etsy has a tab on that page called "from Etsy" that is where you will see messages that are actually from Etsy. All other messages pretending to be from Etsy that are not in that tab are phishing scams. If Etsy had been hacked they would be legally required to notify the community, as soon as they detected it.
