etsy search not finding product

I have noticed that the etsy search from within etsy doesn't work correctly. I've had people reach out to me mentioning they can't find my product  (the introvent) on etsy via search. I launched a new browser, went to etsy, and typed "introvent" (without the quotes) into etsy search. the only results that showed up for at least 10 pages was introvert related products. 

when I first did the search, I noticed a message that was displayed above the "results":

"Showing results for introvert. Search instead for introvent. "

My original search was for introvent, yet nothing was returned. it appears that etsy is "auto-correcting" my search term?

can someone explain what is happening and why? one would assume that search results would return what you type in.

Have no clue about what your items are.  I would suspect there are very few items using the term introvent.  The system is designed to check spelling and offer alternatives.

The buyer will have to hit 'Show instead for introvent'.

I did a search and as suspected there are very few sellers selling this item so the system is going to auto-correct.

Have you put the word "introvent" in your tags for each listing? That will bring them up

I just did a search for introvent and I did first get all the introvert listings, but after clicking the ''did you mean....'', all 7 of your listings showed up on the first page of results.   

Etsy search does autocorrect unusual words often, so it's not surprising that it would change it to introvert.  However, if someone does actually search introvent, you'll have to assume they'll notice that all the results are related to introvert and they also would click the 'did you mean...'  But how many buyers looking for an air vent cover will use 'introvent' anyway?  Even a google search gave me introvert results and asked did you mean?  It's not an actual word, so that's the problem.

I also searched for ''air vent cover'' and only one of yours showed up on page 1.  All 7 of your titles begin the same.  Maybe you should change a couple of titles to start with 'air vent cover' since that's what it really is and what a buyer would probably put in the search box.
