I used to be able to have live chats with etsy and it doesn't seem to exist anymore. I have written them and don't always get a response. Does anyone know something that I don't.

Do you still see the chat 'bubble' icon in the bottom right of the webpage when you are logged in to the shop manager?
You might get a quicker response if you ask your questions in the forum.

It looks like you don’t have the Star Seller badge, if you don’t have that, you don’t get the little Live Chat icon on your dashboard so no access to it.
Depending on your question, Etsy won’t respond if the answer is easily findable in the Seller Handbook or TOUs etc.
I do not have the star seller badge, yet several days ago I was able to use live chat to resolve a financial glitch, and that chat bubble still shows at the bottom of my shop dashboard page........
Chat seems to be available to everyone even if they don't have star seller. I have star seller and I don't have chat.

You may have a clean run of 5 star reviews @SpiritWorldbyHeather but you don’t have the Star Seller Badges. You’ve obviously not met the customer service metrics required, greater than 95% in message replying within in 24hrs/no less than 5 stars for every review/tracking on every order and/or reached the minimum sales/revenue threshold required. https://www.etsy.com/starseller
one of the perks of Star Seller is live chat accessibility.
@MaynardMillinery I lost Star Seller this month due to a missed message but I still have the live chat icon.
After getting through the BOT/AI responses, I used it last week and the person was helpful.

I have the Star Seller badge and the chat icon. The chat icon has not worked for some time now. Response time is 1-2 days even though they are there 24/7. It used to say you could call them, and they would call you back, but that's gone. I used Live Chat in October and got no response. I used it again for another matter in November and got no response. Wonder why the button is still there when it doesn't work.

That has been my exact experience. Amaradorn's message above showed me where the chat is when you open up office manager. Have you tried that?

I have had exactly the same problem as you for a week. I was in contact with them without any problem, especially since I do not harass them... I must have used the Chat 5 times. The answers are often off, but very cordial. I have been a Top Seller for a long time.
Have you been able to use the Etsy chat again?

The chat icon can be iffy if the last chat employee neglected to close. Or something else. I've never had chat so going by what others have experienced.
I've always used Contact us with success. If you problem is solvable by reading the policies or Help Etsy expects us all to try that first.
The forums is another option.

So it isn't a live person, instant chat?
starts out as a bot, then you can request to "chat with an agent." (actual live Etsy support person)
