etsy chat not working; wrong payment for international order ... what else!

i received an international order but the postage charged is for a domestic order (i am in the UK and it is only a card), so would leave me out of pocket if i fulfil it.  I don't know why?

And in contacting Etsy support, none of my comments are answered or even acknowledged.  it is like i have gone into a black hole.  There isn't a call back system in the uk, seemingly!

any help, before i sent a card late at my expense, risking all sorts of Etsy punishments!

You have free worldwide delivery on at least the tree of life card and the bumble bee cards. You need to fix that on the back end first. It’s not a glitch, it’s the way you’ve set it up.

thanks, for the Bumble card,  the "Domestic and global pricing" is ticked, and i have it at £5.95 for everywhere else, and this is the same for all the cards (i will double check the Tree of life card), so i don't know where it is going wrong

Domestic and global pricing isn’t anything to do with shipping. It’s to change the price of the item and charge different amounts to people either in your own country or abroad. For instance, if you were VAT registered, you would use that tan to add the VAT to the price for UK buyers, but charge a lower price to people outside the UK who don’t pay our VAT.

You need to scroll to the bottom and set your shipping prices under the Delivery tab. You can set Free Shipping for the UK and charge for either “Everywhere Else” or select individual countries if you only want to ship to select countries and not the entire world.

There is an ongoing glitch where domestic prices are being charged instead of international and there are lots of posts about it.  You could cancel the order and manually change the shipping and ask the buyer to repurchase. 

Why are you charging £5.95 anyway when it only costs £2 odd to send a card anywhere in the world?

thanks, i did search for the glitch in the forum, but maybe didn't hit on the correct word for the search.

Etsy have paid me the shortfall now.

and just to let you know, it cost me £2.50 to post, so with my petrol to the post office, time etc, i am OK with the price charged

i have now had a reply to my chat request , via email, refunding me the missing postage , with instructions to reboot the Domestic and Global pricing... so maybe a glitch at their end.
