I can no longer duplicate a sold listing.
When I open a sold listing there is no choice as to "renew, edit, duplicate...etc". There are no options at all.
I often will copy a listing that sold because most of what is in the listing is very very similar. I don't want to just renew the listing as I will remake the same item later.
This happened just last week and was hoping it would be resolved by now. It is tremendously inconvenient when I have to upload 50 different items and make brand new listings when I can just copy old listings.
Thank you.
I found it! It's a different way of doing it for sure. I found the search bar for sold items in the listings area so now I can search for a sold hat and copy from there.
Thank you!

You can, you just have to do it the other way from listing manager page in shop manager.
go to shop manager > listings
Find the listing in sold out filter on the right or whichever filter applies. Click the little gear icon on the listing and select copy.
I didn't realize there was a different way to do it than this....
Me either until I started seeing posts like OP's here. I have always managed listings in shop manager- listing manager never on the public view page. I think many do it that way through the sold out listing. Like how there are options up top of a listing when we click on them in our shop (the public view). I think duplicate is one that is missing for sold out listings when they try to do it that way.
Thanks. There is no search options though. I have literally 1000's of listings. It will take me up to 30 minutes to find the hat doing it that way. Am I missing the search?
There is a search bar on listing manager page. It's up top next to the + add a listing button. Use that to search for the title or sku or whatever works for your system then select sort by latest to oldest (this will give you the most recent sold out first which will help narrow the list) Then select sold out under 'listing status'. All the filters available there on the right side of listing manager page should help you narrow it down and find it easier.
I found it! It's a different way of doing it for sure. I found the search bar for sold items in the listings area so now I can search for a sold hat and copy from there.

Great answer!!!! This solved my problem. Thank you!!
I still have the option to copy a sold listing to create a new one. How are you trying to do this? App? Computer? I'm on a computer and using Google Chrome.
Computer. google Chrome.
I search my sold orders. Find the listing. Click on the order. Then click on the listing. It brings me to the page that says it is sold but has all the info on it and on the top of the pic it would normally have (in the past anyway) Edit...Duplicate...deactivate...and about 4 other things. That is no longer there...there is no option to do anything.
thank you SO MUCH!!!
I search my sold orders and find the one I want to uese as the basis for a new listing, rather than clicking to open it I click on the gear thing and then click copy and then save it as a draft. This leaves the sold listing unchanged. I then go to drafts and click the gear and edit, then edit what needs to be edited and use what doesn't to save time retyping all the basic information. A real time saver and what I think you are trying to do.
