customer says at checkout i dont deliver to uk

customer has contacted me and has sent me a screenshot of his checkout when trying to purchase one of my cards 

We are both in the uk

in the choose a region he has put uk but under the box it says this item does not deliver to the uk!

I used a different device to see if i could purchase it and everything looks ok at my end

is this a glitch do you think?

ive asked him if he is using the app and maybe try a different device

Sounds like a glitch.  Since you are required to sell to your home country, I can't think of any reason or setting you could hit accidentally to cause this.  It should be impossible for Etsy to display such a message.

I would report this to Etsy and send them a copy of the screenshot.

Was the customer in Northern Ireland (BT postcode)?

If you have selected to not ship to EU due to GSPR  regulations, then that also turns off NI sales as it is counted as EU for these regs.

I've had two customers contact me about this recently - both from NI - the message they get says "does not deliver to the UK".  I think Etsy could be more helpful here in their messaging as both customers were confused.

so was I as a seller.  was thinking my settings were wrong and maybe that was the reason for drop in sales
