i started q4 so well and got these creativity standards violations on products i own the designs for and handmake in my shed or with a production partner. since then my shop visibility has dwindled badly. what is the path to redemption? how can i fix this? my goods are not stolen
PLEASE HELP!
Usually it's because someone stole your photos and are using them on other wholesale sites. Have you done a reverse-image search? If you find them, you have to file DMCA takedown notices.
Read other situations here in the forums.
Prove to etsy that you have filed the takedowns and are actively protecting your IP. Otherwise, they think YOU are reselling
While I'm not seeing your photos being used on other sites, there are quite a few of the very same bags being sold on sites such as Temu, Alibaba, Walmart and other places.
Is your Production Partner selling your designs to other companies?
On another note, several of your bags look like Burberry dupes, which could cause a whole other set of problems.
And using a tag that says "Burberry bag new" isn't going to help dispel the thought those bags are infringing.
I hope Burberry finds this shop. What a joke.
I do love a good self callout.
@TheVintagePineapple And if they are, then these designs wouldn't meet Etsy's Creativity Standards, correct?
Expect more takedowns, unless Temu, Shein, Amazon, Walmart, DHGate are stealing from you and you can prove it.
Every item is easily found on AliExpress, DH Gate and many other sites!
If you actually hand make all these items yourself &/or use a production service, provide proof!
Reselling items that you did not make or design yourself is not allowed on Etsy ... it violates the Terms of Use, Seller Policy, Creativity Standards.

It's hard to believe that you "handmake in my shed".
Sorry.

for that quaint cottage vibe.
your avatar that looks like you are biting your nails says it all.
You should be worried.
edited to add: If I made bags that looked like that in my back shed, I would be bragging to no end with videos showing my expertise craftsmanship... but not a video or photo of you with a needle in hand, touching supplies, or projects in progress. Not an instgram or facebook link...
@LastCentury It's almost like she has something to hide ...
You handmake these handbags? Interesting.
in her shed.
Not anymore, apparently. Shop is no more.
