2 days ago i was able to use a chat function to speak to a human, not that they gave correct advise, as my site is still in reserve! went to chat again, and low and behold, only email available, and under that, this is funny, is a slogan

'ETSY Keep Commerce Human"

could not make it up if you tried!!!

Thanks for the link, etsy called me almost within seconds, but feel sorry for the guy on the other end, I vented a little ( ok, a lot), not rude, quite professional, and also apologised to him for being on the receiving end, but hey, I am being penalised by etsy for trying to grow my shop, RESERVE!, basically keeping peoples money ( not mine yet, so buyers money) and earning interest on it, must be in the millions all across etsy, wonder how buyers would feel about it if they new!

@YnysMonCrafts   Sorry you vented.  Etsy has a tendency to look badly on shops that treat them badly.  Oh they will fix the issue but you kind of get a black mark that doesn't go away.

click the avitar top right, you can click on - my support requests,

if the chat did actually log it, you will see it there, and be able to reply that you still need help

If it isn't there, they didn't log the call

If it is there, don't contact them again, or this will be close and you will start at the bottom of the queue again

I always do e-mail logs - I find that it's the only way to get a real etsy person to see it, and you can chase it every day (phones and chat are outsourced, and seem to be targeted on how quickly they can get rid of you, not how accurate the info is, and whether they log a call or not).
