Dear Etsy Support Team,

I do not use the letter "ü" anywhere in my manually entered information - not in my address or bank details.

The only place the letter "ü" appears is in the country name "Turkey", which is automatically generated by the Etsy system when I select my country.
I did not write this - Etsy did.

So please stop blaming me or asking me to remove something I have no control over. These repeated messages asking me to "remove the 'U'" feel condescending and almost insulting at this point.

I want my case to be reviewed by someone who truly understands how this system works and can apply professional judgment. The way this has been handled so far lacks transparency and fairness.

This is not how a responsible system should work.

I implore you:

Stop sending out automated responses that are not implemented

Assign a real person to review my case

Restore my store immediately

Investigate why this is happening despite my full compliance

I am a small business owner trying to do everything right. Please start treating this matter with the seriousness it deserves.
In addition, I have attached a screenshot showing the section where my bank account information is entered.
Please review it as part of this case.

Also, I want to clearly say once again: this is complete nonsense.
The exact same situation happened to me in 2024 — and it took 9 months to fix.
Now, just two months later, I’ve been dragged into the same cycle again.
At this point, Etsy must acknowledge that this is a serious system error and take responsibility.

We are spending time, labor, and money here — and in return, we are left frustrated and helpless.
It’s unbelievable that such a large platform doesn’t have the technical power or budget to resolve this. It’s honestly quite ridiculous.

Wait! Are you saying your shop is closed and Etsy is saying it is because of (them) using a character they dont support in your shop?

Etsy support do not frequent the forums.  We occasionally see a moderator, but all they can do is pass the matter along to support.  For the most part the users here are sellers just like you.  We can offer advice, based on past experience, but we have no power to make things happen.

You would do best to open a Help Request (under Help/Contact Us from the menu at the left of your shop dashboard page) and when you receive a canned response, go to the bottom of that message and click "I still need Help".  This makes it clear that you are still in need of assistance, and the message will keep its place in the queue.  If you don't respond like this, the system assumes that the canned information that was sent in the first response contained an answer to your issue.  

DO NOT keep sending new messages, each time you do, the original message is presumed solved and taken out of the queue, and the new one starts at the bottom again.  Stick with the same original message from Etsy and keep responding to that until you get a solution.

I know all of this, I have been selling on this platform for 3 years. Thank you for what you wrote. I know everything you wrote and more. What happened to me in 2024 made me a professional. I don't want it to last 9 months in the process I am currently experiencing and I am trying to make my voice heard everywhere. Stay with love.

Is it your ID that is the issue?  Whatever service they use does not recognize the characters of certain languages and so an ID without the characters is needed or not sure how other Turkish sellers handle this.  

You truly are not specific in your reasoning.  Etsy usually does not simply close a shop for that alone.  So there must be more here to the story you are painting.   Also this includes bank account information?  Then there may be something to that, that we as sellers are not privy to what Etsy is seeing and the regulations and laws they must follow.

I guess Etsy is just automatic boots. There is no answer, they closed my store. They closed my store for my deposit that they could not pay. and they do not communicate at all. They are getting worse every passing day. No one cares. All our hard work is disappearing. The effort given for years has disappeared, it is such a shame

Dear Etsy Support Team,

To be honest, I am at a point where I no longer know how to express myself. I am trapped in a cycle that feels completely irrational and unethical — and the most frustrating part is that I cannot reach a single real person to help resolve it.

I have a shop. But the "door" of that shop is constantly locked by you.
You collect advertising fees from me, deduct commissions, and take payment processing charges without fail. Yet at the same time, you block my shop and refuse to send me my earned money.
You are charging me while simultaneously restricting my business.

This is not only unfair, it is deeply unethical.

I have done nothing wrong. My banking details have not changed. They were verified and deposits were flowing regularly. But then, your internal system changed, and without any fault of mine, my account was again suspended and payouts were stopped. Just like in 2024, when my funds were withheld for 9 months without reason. Now it’s happening again.

Despite everything, you continue to respond with automated replies, while I suffer the consequences of a system I cannot fix or access. I am not your developer. I am a seller — a person — and I am trying to earn an honest living on your platform.

You have a responsibility to uphold fairness, communication, and transparency with your sellers.
We are the ones who generate your revenue, and without us, Etsy cannot exist. Yet you treat sellers like enemies — shutting us down without justification, keeping our funds, and ignoring our pleas.

So I am now demanding the following:

Reopen my shop immediately.

Release the funds you have withheld from me.

Stop sending automated messages — I demand a real human response from a qualified person.

If you cannot or will not solve this issue, then say so directly, so I can take appropriate steps outside of Etsy.

This platform is beginning to resemble a hostile system that exploits sellers, rather than supporting them.

You have no right to suspend my shop or block my payments without cause.

If Etsy believes in fairness and professionalism, this situation must be resolved now.

@Metalwalldecormarket: Just so you know, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy moderators do sometimes read and reply to posts).
