And this is exactly why I refuse to sign up for 2FA!!!   I would try again. BTW--How did you manage to sign in here? (to the forum)

I'm not sure what problem OP is having, but I can sign into my shops but I can't get to my listings (some kind of a dumb message) but I had no problem getting to the forum.

I have been getting messages to sign into the 2FA or whatever it is and I have declined so I guess that's part of the problem - if you decline then you get problems.

Did you download and save the back up codes when you turned on 2fa? If you manage to get back into your account, check your phone number is correct.

You are better off downloading the Google authenticator app, also when you have to change your phone you can just transfer it

thats what i have i thought that was 2 fa  it isnt?   But it works. And I switched phones and numbers no problem

@ThePurplePuppyThis is the same reason I haven't signed up for that.  I know I risk getting hacked, but I'm also concerned this will happen and I won't be able to access my shops.  If I'm not mistaken I've read on here how some shops have been hacked even with this.  Etsy is not always the best at implementing these type of things and I don't won't to be locked out of my shops if I don't get this code. I've heard of others saying this has happened to them as well and they can't get in touch with etsy to help them either.

This is happening to me now as well. The codes rarely come to my phone. I tried last night at least 15 times, and the code only came once. I have the list of 10 codes to use to get back into my account, and I have now used two of the codes. Since I was able to get back in with a code, I tried to disable the "2FA" but to do so, I have to enter a code sent to my phone!, and here I am waiting again for a code that is not coming. I cannot use one of the 10 codes from the list for this, as I tried and it would not accept it. I did verify that the phone number is correct, so that is not the problem.  I hate that it is so hard to actually talk to someone at Etsy about how to fix this.
