cart issues

I'm a seller on Etsy but I do purchase items that are unusual. . . .well. . . I put an item in my shopping cart last night and let it sit overnight as I was deciding if I wanted to purchase it.  So today, the seller offered me a discount code for this item.  When I went to apply it. . . the item in the cart disappeared. . . . . . .so I started over again . . .and it did the same thing.  GONE. . . . . I can buy it with the "BUY IT NOW" option, but I can't get the discount.  Anybody else have issues with this.?

I would suggest cleaning out cache and cookies.  Reboot computer.  You might have something impinging.

Is there only one item?  IF multiples it could possibly be a proble with someone else buying at the same time. 

Has the seller altered the listing?  If so then you may need to put the item back into your cart.
