can not access account due to "We've noticed possible suspicious activity"

I tried  to login  to my other etsy  store- realeatherstore -  to print the addresses for the orders and i got this  message "We've noticed possible suspicious activity on your account. For security purposes, we've temporarily limited your access to protect your information until you reach out to us." I immediately  wrote the message but  no reply How long does this take to be solved? Why it happened?

   The store is still active and and i received messages from  users

I think this is a scam.
To verify this you should go to 'Messages' on your dashboard.
If the message is in the 'From Etsy' folder, then the message is legit. If not, I'm afraid it is a scam. Throw the message in the spam folder.

The scammers now have your email address, and that was probably their purpose. 

Sadly this has been going on for quite some time and many sellers have received these kind of messages.

I can not login. When  trying to  i get the message 

 "We've noticed possible suspicious activity on your account. For security purposes, we've temporarily limited your access to protect your information until you reach out to us."

I am sorry, I had misunderstood your message.

I have no idea how long it can take before Etsy responds. Maybe at least wait until a workday? 
Try chat with your other account.

Seems they do not have chat anymore. Only Email contact

I had the exact same thing happen back in May when I had to return home to Australia when my Pa was diagnosed with cancer. It was a really tough month and  then my Etsy store was shut down too. I’m guessing the different IP address was what triggered the shut down.

However, that’s where things get frustrating. 

The error message says:

[This content has been removed by Moderation. We ask that you please review Section 1, Item 2 of our Community Policies before posting in the Forums.]

That was 12 July. I replied with all the info requested and have sent 3 follow up messages to “Oms’ which just generated a generic reply with a link to the case that I can’t access- because I can’t log in!

I thought maybe they’re very busy so I left it for months… and finally decided to just set up a new store. However, I feel it’s unfair to lose all the positive reviews etc from my original store. 

Has this happened to anyone else? The support system is very frustrating to deal with. Especially after having a store on the platform for so long with no issues

It appears to be happening with alarming frequency.

With exactly the same response you got from Etsy.

It’s so disheartening to have this happen. It was during a really challenging time in my life and the loss of income just made things worse.

Thej to get trapped in an impossible ‘support’ situation where their platform needs users to login to a system that can’t be accessed due to the account in question being disabled… it’s just frustration after frustration.
