Can't figure out how to change my banner. Everything I read says to go to Shop Manger-"Sales channel" with pencil next to shop name. My list of options does not not have Sales Channel listed? The last listed category is Community + Support.
Thanks, Pam
On your shop page, look at your current banner. Do you see the pencil icon and "Edit shop" button? Click.
You will be redirected to a new page. Do you see your banner on top? Hit the pencil icon (bottom right corner of your banner). "You are editing your banner" line appears at the bottom of the screen. Now you can remove your current banner and add a new one. When you're done, click "Save".
Sounds like you're clicking or looking at the wrong place. You have to scroll down on the left side of your dashboard to find the Sales Channels and your shop name with the pencil icon. Try this instead, Dashboard > Settings > Shop Info & Appearance. You can find the place to add/change your banner there.

When I click the Save button, it turns gray, then immediately reappears and is black again and my new banner is not saved.
I got it! Thank you!
@MissEmmaHowardsShop Same thing is happening to me!
@AtticStuffTreasures what is the issue? Can you not find where to change your banner?
No, I know where to do it, but it won’t take. I chatted with Etsy and asked if they could change my banner. I provided them with the new banner. I have not heard back from them yet.
I've posted before because I've had the same banner problem more than once. I went through all the steps and tried signing out, signing back in, and spending quite a lot of time and becoming upset. I assumed that it was just another Etsy glitch, but I was able to chat with an Etsy representative who suggested refreshing the page. It worked! A lot of problems can be solved with a quick refresh and if you can find the "Help" page where you can either send a message to Etsy or chat (finding that page can be frustrating as well,) that's the quickest way to solve a problem because when the representative walks you through all the steps and reiterates the basic directions - and they do not work, the Etsy representative has to help you find the answer.
