checking my star seller status, i see that there are 18 pending orders, there should only be 3. I clicked to orders and elect the filter to show orders in transit, all of my delivered orders are there. i click on them and they state theyre delivered, according to usps. i then elect delivered in the filter and there is only one order. all of my orders that have been shipped, have been delivered, over a week ago. i believe this also may be prohibiting some payment? im not sure but i would like these orders that are delivered, to be marked as such.

@SwiftLayer3D: Even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts).

When you say "pending" do you mean that they are still showing as in transit or that they are not showing as completed?

If the former and you are sure that the shipper is supported by Etsy, and that the data on the actual order is correct you will need to contact customer service.

in the star seller status page, it says i have 18 pending orders, i should have 15 completed and delivered and 3 pending. when i go to my orders page, swap to the completed tab, it shows my completed orders. they are all saying delivered. i use the filter and i select 'completed' and 'delivered'. it shows that i only have one completed and delivered. when i should have 15.

to add more specifications. the USPS interface for etsy says theyre delivered, but etsy isnt reading them as such / AKA, Etsy thinks the orders are still in transit or uncompleted.

@SwiftLayer3D: There have been a number of posts in this forum about the radio button filters on the Orders and Shipping page not working (filtering) correctly. If all of your orders are showing as delivered then you should be okay.

Our Star Seller page does not use the word "pending" anywhere so I cannot help with that. Have you checked the applicable CSV file to see if Etsy thinks there are some "problem" orders?

@SwiftLayer3D: To see what Etsy thinks is late or otherwise has something wrong with it make sure that *Had processing time?* = yes, *Ship by* has a date, *Tracking/label date* has a date, and *Shipped on time?* = yes. These are the fields that affect Star Seller if / when you are eligible but also give you a snapshot of any potential issues with orders.

What was the date of your first sale? It looks like it's possible you may not be eligible for SS yet, no matter how many orders have processed.

Shops that have not yet made the minimum requirements will see 'pending'. 

Minimum requirements are:

90 days since your first sale

5 sales in the past 3 months

$300 in sales in the last 3 months

You are not eligible until you get all 3, then you can start earning the 3 badges to work towards the final star.

my first sale was early july, im not worried about hitting star seller, its just alarming that it says i have 18 pending orders when i should have 3, furthermore, it only shows one as delivered and completed. the rest are completed and in transit, even tho the USPS interface says delivered and i even got messages from the clients saying they received the items. it will probably work itself out after the 90 days? the other alarming thing is that every other achievement is building up and showing up to date info. i suppose maybe all my orders are pending for the first 90 days then?

Yes, my understanding is that the 'pending' you are seeing is only in reference to the SS program (which is why I brought it up, sorry for not being clear enough) and how those metrics are actually measured, at this point only Etsy really knows how it's set up and working. Those shops that are eligible for SS already won't ever see the 'pending' status. 

As long as you have marked the orders as complete, it should work itself out. I would only be concerned if orders are stuck in open or in progress. 

Sounds like you are using Etsy labels, which means when you buy the labels and ship the product they will automatically be marked as complete. 

As far as the Pirateship prices vs Etsy labels, for me they are 95% of the time the same exact rate (for personal shipments they are 100% cheaper than buying postage over the counter or on stamps.com). The only time PS is cheaper is when I'm shipping to Canada or possibly shipping UPS instead of USPS, but most of my shipments are small and go USPS. It is nice that you can integrate your PS account with your Etsy account and like the Etsy labels, when done that way it will fill in all the information and mark the order as complete for you.

Etsy has had some shipping issues and items stuck in pretransit. You can purchase labels on Pirateship and it integrates with Etsy to add the tracking. They have lower prices, better support. Keep reading the forums FYI cause you will pick up a lot of things that are helpful to know.

ive been hearing about pirateship for personal shipments because i have a label printer and my buddy suggested i use it to ship him stuff. if you say its cheaper then im gonna look into it. i like how etsy pulls your shipping cost though, its easier on the pockets
