Wondering why I see this (a la une) all the time when I enter the forums?  I see it on my phone, but not on my laptop.  I have not changed my language or location.  Is this just an Etsy glitch or something else?  Does anyone else see this when they enter the forums?

I had to look it up ... it is French for Big News.  In English, it is "Announcements".  I see it on my Etsy Sellers app when I go to "Community" and it shows "a la une" just above the article "How we are building a more trusted and transparent ... (Alice Wu).

It is "in the news" in French, like big news or announcement

Yep, that's what I found too via Google translate.  But WHY do I always see that on my app?  Sometimes I see it in Spanish.

seen it in different languages, but not for a while now.

Are you using a browser? I had some different issues the other day and it was down to the browser and not the actual site.

Maybe have a clear out of your browsing history and see what it does after

This has been going on for years.  You'll see different languages show up from time to time.

Yes, I've noticed this for years. It seems to show up whenever an international seller last posts to a thread. I often see German text for the headlines, but just momentarily.

Yes, I saw it the other day (instead of "Featured", which is I'm seeing now). Other times it will be "Emfholen" (sp.?) Then it will change back to "Featured".

Any time Etsy makes tests or contemplates major changes, little glitches happen such as language changes or other irritating things.  Not everyone sees the glitches.
