Hi. I have a problem that many others have but don't seem to notice it. Whatever the size, dpi or file type (jpeg, png or gif) of the showcase images I use for my listings, in the Etsy app for phone or tablet they can't be zoomed in. Whenever you try to "click" them for zoom, they remain the same. For a millisecond the image goes blank and then comes back the same. Some shops have showcase images that work with the Etsy app when zooming on them. I don't know what they do for their images to work with the zoom tool.
I tried the following things with no success:
- changed the resolution: under 1000 px and above 2000 px
- changed the DPI: 72, 96, 300
- changed the file format: JPEG, PNG, GIF
- changed the ratio: 1:1, 3:2
- reduced the file size: from a few MBs to 100kB
I am referring to the Etsy app for buyers and not the Etsy Seller App. To access the app I used different phones and tablets. Same problem.
What can I do to have my showcase images work with the zoom tool on Etsy app?
