Hello dear Etsy officials and Etsy sellers,

I have been selling on Etsy for two years now, and thanks to Etsy, I have been able to grow my shop. Because of this, the government has asked me to establish a company. I wanted to convert my account from individual to business, and I did this by consulting Etsy via chat. I uploaded all my documents, and my shop went into vacation mode while waiting for approval from Etsy officials. It has been a week, and my account has still not been reviewed. I have been trying to reach out via chat and email, but I have not received any responses.

(My company is fully registered in my name, and I have complied with all of Etsy's rules.)

Can someone kindly update me on the status or provide assistance?

Etsy does not review the documents. That is done by Persona. It’s explained in the help center

I didn’t quite understand what you meant. The message I’m seeing on the screen is: 'Your document has been submitted for review. We’ll look it over and be in touch soon (usually within 2-5 business days). We may reach out if we need more details. Keep in mind: Your shop will stay in Vacation Mode until we can verify your info.' And there’s a pink warning showing 'Pending Verification.

@WallArtbyCraftist: Etsy appears to have a difficulty with name changes and what appears to be a change in ownership - like individual to LLC. Based on other posts, there appears to be a backlog in manual reviews.

Been waiting two weeks tomorrow.   My accountant says all tax info correct.  Uploaded i.d.  two weeks ago.  Two weeks no pay or sales.

I'm not terribly familiar with Florida requirements but have you filled out all the required paperwork for Florida.  You are still a sole proprietership or did you try for an LLC.  If it is only you then you are still a sole proprietor.  How to Start a Sole Proprietorship in Florida - Chamber Of Commerce

You need an EIN registration so if you used SSN then Etsy may be having trouble checking.

It's not Etsy's rules that apply here.  It is what your state has for you.  If Etsy cannot verify with Florida they may be trying other avenues.  It is taking more than 5 days for most people when changes are required. 

If you have an email from them, reply back you still need help. Chat cannot help with this.
