You have been blocked Message

Hello,

While I was logged in to my Etsy shop (replying to a customer's message), I suddenly had the screen say "You have been blocked." I was using an up to date Google Chrome browser at the time. I have to be able to respond to customer's messages in a timely manner and have been "blocked" from logging in for hours.

I am unable to login to my Etsy shop (or view the Etsy website at all) on Google Chrome and instead I get the "You have been blocked" message on a white background when attempting to access the Etsy.com website. 

I tried different browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.) on a computer and on a phone, and nothing was working. I tried Safari again just now and was finally able to use Safari to login to the Etsy forums to post. This has been going on since this morning. Tried contacting Etsy support and can't do so when I get the "You have been blocked" when attempting to log in.

Please help unblock the Etsy website so I can log in to my shop.

@RendekWoodworking: While you have found and reported what appears to be a coding flaw I am not sure that it is the cause of the 'blocked' issue.

We always have our Messages page open in a tab and also experience the relentless and non stop repeated calls to 'custom-order-builder' but have not had the 'blocked' error occur.

The exact same "Something about the behaviour of the browser has caught our attention" block has been reported for at least three years and has sporadically affected many other sites and all browsers - and we have never seen a real solution.

Happening to me too. Hey Etsy - why dont you try testing on a test server before you push updates to a live server. Just a thought.
