I have a number of items that have incorrect shipping identified (shipping for Free) when the listing is viewed and when added to a cart.
One example:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/807525804/white-meets-black-black-and-white-fused?click_key=44f7d2c8a10...
Editing my listing you'll see the Shipping is set to a "Calculated Rate".
But, when viewing this item in Etsy - or when adding to a cart - shipping is Free.
You have the free shipping set up for orders over $35.
Try checking in edit mode that you do not have free shipping checked by mistake. Often the first shipping option.
You have the free shipping set up for orders over $35.
Well, yes - I did. Thank you, very much. I didn't intend to set it that way.
When I clicked on the listing it says FREE
@GlassyMeltdown - Even when using Calculated Shipping, you can also offer Free Shipping on specific listings. It depends on which shipping profile you use.
Right now in your shop, I see Free Shipping on items priced over $35.00.
For items priced under $35.00 I see the notice that if I purchase over $35.00 from your shop I will receive free shipping.
Check your shipping profiles. Since you have the free shipping offer turned on, you'll probably need to go into your shipping settings to turn off. Be sure to confirm this - I think it takes multiple steps, clicks, to accomplish this.
Also, off topic, but do set up shop policies. This is very important if you should ever need to use Etsy's seller protection:
If selling internationally - https://www.etsy.com/legal/policy/selling-to-eu-and-uk-buyers/239965962014
Thank you - that is exactly what my "issue" was.
Thank you! I've turned off the Free Shipping.
Disable free shipping on orders over $35 and then it will use calculated.
IF you have free shipping guaranteed then over $35 will get free no matter what.
Not tied into calculated. Different program.
