Won't allow reviews for a year

I'm new so I apologize if this is something I should know but I cannot find the answer why. I sell digital svgs and pngs. There is no delivery time. I've sold over 40 and have not received a single review. I reached out to a few buyers and they have all stated that Etsy will not allow them to leave a review until a year AFTER purchase! I don't understand that and it certainly isn't helping with sales. Can anyone explain if this is normal for a new seller on Etsy? I have bought svgs myself and have been able to leave reviews within a few hours so I know that's not normal for digital items. Thank you!

It sounds like an Etsy glitch as I have heard before that some have had a message they can't leave a review until 2025.  Go to your Shop Manager and scroll down the left column to Contact Us and send Etsy an email. 

However, very few people actually do leave a review and it is not best practice to ask for them.   In one shop I had, I had 56 sales before I got the first review and that was without the glitch!

I donot sedll "Digital" downloads, but I have read reports from some who do that, once the file is actually "downloaded" (as opposed to received?) the Review Window opens as it should.
