Will etsy contact me????

I got this as a message on my new account. It is a scam since Etsy has my email.

Also why is it so far to talk to someone from Etsy? I don't want to read an article.

What do you need to talk to Etsy about?
No, Etsy probably won't contact you. They also don't have a phone # to call or an email address.

ALL contact you have to do through the HELP pages, shop manager > Help > Contact us.
If you still need help you have to reply back to that email that you still need help.

All you can do is mark that message as SPAM.

The main thing to me that this screams SCAM is those odd fonts.  Those scammers do this hoping Etsy won't detect the message and delete it.

There is no reason to contact Etsy. Just mark as spam.

Etsy will likely just provide links for you to read.

OR, an Etsy chat rep will likely just read whatever is in the manual pertaining to your question.

Or an Etsy phone rep might take your details and give it to a tech you might send you an email in a few days.

Or you can just read the guide pertaining to your issue.

Or you can ask a more in-depth question here and we might provide some info with relevant links for your to read.

All in all, there will be reading, unless you have an app that will read the article to you.

And no legitimate company sends out messages with gobbledygook text like that.
