Why is Star Seller NOT showing now on our shops?

All righty then... The number of years and number of sales is not right on our shops... and now, the Star Seller Badge is missing in action on lots of shops? It has simply vanished!

What is up with this? Also, I have a 5.0 rating and it shows 4.9???

You must be in the new shopfront look test.  If you are, you'll see a purple star next to your shop name.   Hover over it and it'll show what the star means.

You've received some low reviews within the past 12 months and unfortunately a lot of 5 star reviews from July 2024 have recently dropped out of the equation.

You'll also notice that our Seller Profile icon is missing too.

Did you hover on the purple star?

If you have an Etsy Plus color theme banner, the purple star is now a black star ... but hovering on it does nothing!  People must wonder what the "black star" is &/or what it means!

I would never thought to hover over the purple star by the shop name, I bet a lot of customers don't either.  I am also in this test and preferred it when it showed the Star Seller mentions such as  "great communication", "Fast shipping", "Great customer service" or something like that - I think Star Seller is more likely to be noticed when a customer comes into the shop and it is right there at the top, along with our Announcement - which is at the bottom of my test right now.
