Hello all,
We've been having an issue for weeks now with most of our listings. For context, we sell fabric in different lengths and colors so all of our listings have variations to account for this.
Whenever we get a sale, the corresponding variation will drop to 0 stock/sold out or sometimes, it'll drop down to a drastically reduced random number. We're talking going from 999 stock to 0 most of the time or a random low number like 45 or 63. Sometimes it'll even drop the stock of another variation in the listing down to 0 or a random number.
We definitely aren't running out of stock as we'll reactivate the variation with 999 or 50 or 100 stock and if it gets a sale again immediately, it'll drop back down to 0.
Is anyone else having this issue? We've had a case open with Etsy for weeks but they've stopped responding, the case is still open though. Just wanted to see if anyone has a fix or if this is just something else Etsy has broken recently that we have to wait on.
Have you clicked "quantity varies" when setting up the listing?
All of our listings are set to quantity varies. It's how individual variations are going out of stock rather than the entire listing.
Apparently there are number of issues with listings which contain variations. Some of mine are having the prices revert to old prices randomly, others are having price and stock numbers change randomly, and you are clearly having the stock issue. No word from Etsy on this - I would keep keeping a close eye and reporting the errors you are experiencing
Seems like Etsy broke a lot of systems when they began updating the site a few weeks back.
Same here, the only way is to change quantities back and relist as it sells or make separate listings, it's been doing it for months.
