Why don't the number of items in carts show in my shop like other sellers listings do?

Today my listings do not display the number of items in carts (while other sellers listings do). 

All are gone.  Plus my recent activity in stats has not updated. Any clue why?

I asked chat bot but it posted an ad article instead.

The red text that says "xx number of people have this in their cart" is very unreliable.

I have also seen several posts over the last week or so about stats not updating in real time, so I think this is site wide problem that affects random sellers.

Visits haven't updated in real time for at least 6 years, probably 7, when Etsy decided it cost to much to continuously filter them.

These mini banners under listings have always come and gone and changed.  Sellers have never had control over what they say (unless the seller is opting to have a sale) nor whether they are even there.  The Etsy gods pick and choose these mini banners at their pleasure.

Etsy go through randomly (I am sure it is not random to them) and move items from carts to saved for later- which dumps the carts.  So it will update that no one has items in the cart.

Items are moved from carts to "save for later" after about 30 days.

@AutumnHollowStudio   Yes, the red text is gone today. Also, my Recent Activity in Dashboard doesn't update for usually 15-18 hours on occasion and it coincides with low sales.  I reported this many times. So today if it doesn't update I won't be busy. It's predictable.

@AutumnHollowStudio , @FallenAngelBrass  I should clarify that the red text shows when you look at the listing in my shop but when it is clicked on, there's nothing.  @GlancesBackVintage  I know they dump the carts but why just my shop is this happening to?  I clicked on all of your shops and carts show. That's what I don't understand.

@SugarTaffySoap: This kind of information is intended to be a buyer nudge not information for the seller. How, when, why, or if this is displayed is a mystery with the answer only known to Etsy. The problem with the in people's carts message is we do not know how current it is (as of 5 minutes ago, 5 hours ago, 5 days ago), how accurate it is, and how inclusive it is (does every listing in someone's cart show this message).

@SugarTaffySoap  - lots of your items are in carts.  the way your shop is displayed they are on the second page.  when I sort to Most Recent there are lots on the first page too.  crisis averted.

I see that people have your items in carts on the second page of your listings.  One says "over 20 people have this is their cart"

@UppNorthEh  , @JJewellerySuppliesUK  Yes they are in carts but if you CLICK on those listings it does not show in red above title. I checked both of your listings and it shows on the main images and when I click on your listing.

I didn't even know it did that.  I clicked on one of your listings that is in 13 carts and when I clicked on it it said "Only 5 left and 6 views in the last 24 hours".  Etsy can only put one heading at a time and I guess perhaps they rotate the messages?  If you have already seen it says in 13 carts before you click I suppose there is no need to tell you that again so it tells you something else to entice you.  I dunno, I'm out.

I see it when I click on your listings. You probably just can't see it in your own shop.

I see it on your listings when I look at them.  I don't pay attention to that, but I'm almost positive you can't see it on your own listings.  Etsy just emptied my carts or I'd check for sure.
