Etsy tracking does not update! I can click through to RM (or any other courier) and see the whole journey and delivery but it just doesn't update on Etsy, AT ALL!
Ugh, this whole situation is so irritating! So many customers messaging me about orders or not being able to leave a review because ETSY tracking DOES NOT update, even though the parcels have either been delivered or a delivery attempt has been made!
Any idea if this is a bug because it's been happening for ages and it's starting to really annoy me.
The review window opens the day after expected delivery no matter what the tracking shows.
But I have a customer who can't leave a review on either or her purchases because it's telling her it's not been delivered?
Etsy made a change on the review period, so regardless of whether it did update the tracking, they can only leave a review once the estimated delivery date has passed. It states the date they can leave a review, on their order.
Estimated delivery for her first order was 1st-18th March and it still won't let her leave a review though?
@DaisyCutterBurlesque This does sound like an issue has happened due to the dates. And because there is tracking available with the courier but not on Etsy. Have you tried contacting Etsy? It may help to reach out and describe the problem in detail.
Did the buyer check out as a guest?
As shared, if they are a guest they will not have the option to leave a review unless they open an account and merge the orders. But, this still doesn't explain the lack of documented tracking.
No, they didn't, the first order was fine, the second and third are the issues, but it's not just that one customer. I've got loads with the same issue.
