Why can't I get out of vacation mode?

Hello, Even though I uploaded my ID and driver's license to the system, my store is still in vacation mode. Why can't I get out of vacation mode?

Etsy is probably checking your shop, items and ID, they are not known to be quick so it is a waiting game and only they can take the vacation mode off your shop.

It is normal for Etsy to pause a new shop once they get their first sale.  They may need you to provide more information to allow them to verify your ID (this is to satisfy Fraud and Anti-Money Laundering laws in most locations).  Be patient, they will be back in touch if they need more from you.

Etsy is likely also looking into whether your items are handmade by you.
