I started a 10% coupon code for items left in the cart. I paused it at least a month ago and still people are using it. As Etsy and shipping fees rise want to end this coupon. What's the deal?
@ShadowsofLove: "Why am I not able to delete a coupon code?" Because coupons like abandoned cart have an expiration date and it would probably be illegal in most jurisdictions to delete the code before the last coupon sent expired.
If the coupons are still being sent after you paused that offer, that is a different matter.
I have paused it, but it appears as though people are still able to use it, so yes, that it my problem
@ShadowsofLove: "... it appears as though people are still able to use it ..." Even if you have paused the Abandoned Cart offer, 'Abandoned cart offers expire 60 days from the coupon’s creation date.' So even on a paused offer, the coupons which were already sent have to be valid for 60 days from the date they were sent. https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115014260108-How-to-Set-Up-Sales-and-Discounts-for-Your-Shop...
However, if you have paused the offer, no NEW coupons should be sent out.
Just click "stop sending"
Where would I do that? I cannot find it anywhere and cannot find the answer in the handbook. Thank you
Pause it means it won't send it anymore but people who already know can still use it.
Is my mistake that I did not create an end date for the coupon? I will never do that again, if that is the case.
@ShadowsofLove It is not possible for a Seller to set "end dates" on "Thank-you" , "Abandoned Cart" and "Favorited" Auttomatically Sent Coupons. These apply Shop-Wide and are controlled by Etsy. Each has an Expiry Date set at the time of issue so, even if you stop sending any future Coupon Offers, Etsy will honour the ones already sent for 90 / 100 days, depending on the Coupon type.
If you are receiving Orders which apply these Coupons, then these have already been sent and cannot be "unsent".
I paused my abandoned cart but now I can't restart it! ,Error says" a stitch has gone arye! '
