Why am I constantly receiving 2 or 3 scam messages just moments after adding a listing, every single time? This has been going on from the first ever listing.
Can these messages potentially affect my customer service standing if I don't respond?
It's really become an annoyance to say the least.
The reason you have so many, is that the scammers have learnt it's easy to scam new sellers.
mark them as spam,
it highlights them to etsy, so they can remove the account,
and if you mark as spam, they don't count against your customer service standing

It was an issue for me too when i was a new seller. Lessens over time.
Just be sure to mark them as spam and don't reply.
Scammers tend to target new shops.
