Where's The Bahamas?

I know they're near Florida in real life but if I search for The Bahamas on Etsy there are no results...which can't be right, not least because I've a map in my shop.

Search Bahama. But I agree..The Bahamas should lead to the  "Bahama" search

You can also try Lucaya (Grand Bahama Island) or Nassau/Paradise Island.

@WeeShed  If you are looking for a shop located there, you won't find one since they are eligible for Etsy Payments.

I only noticed this because I was using the Insight tool to research some listings, when I put in The Bahamas it said there we no results. I thought it was just the tool being weird but when I used Etsy search out of interest it doesn't bring up any results either.

Bahamas are considered part of the Caribbean.  It is listed under the Caribbean and Latin America in the calculated shipping profile.  It is not considered to be part of North America but rather South America in spite of its actual physical location.
