When that happens, there's usually a quantity drop down, even if there's only one available.  When the buyer opens it and selects 1 (or whatever #), the price is updated and ready to go.  The buyers are not seeing any dropdown (I think it's highlighted in pink?)

@LinoleumHandPressCo: "Please help quickly." Just so you know, even if Etsy Support or the Help Pages sent you here this is a seller peer to peer forum, and should not be considered a way to contact Etsy, if that is your hope (although Etsy does sometimes read and reply to posts). Didn't the support rep say that they would escalate the issue to the appropriate team?

I think if the listing has changed, the buyer needs to remove it from their cart and then put it back in for the changes to take effect.

Re: When products are in the cart, a warning appears saying "The item price has changed.",

Thank you so much for your response. Yes, I asked etsy support for help and they said they would do their best. Then they directed me here. Now I realize this is a forum for sellers. Not Etsy, but I solved the problem myself. I changed the price by clicking the button to round all my items to the nearest integer. And the problem was solved. I think the problem was because I was listing in a currency other than USD. As exchange rates change, the prices of my items change as well, and this caused a very strange thing.

Thank you...
Love...

@LinoleumHandPressCo the only way Etsy would flag for 'price change' is when YOU change the price.

Exchange rates fluctuate all the time and are not flagged by Etsy ... that could potentially be a daily occurrence.

It seems to me if a buyer put an item in their cart at one price, but by the time they went to actually finish the buy, and the price had changed in the meantime - that would be a problem if the order went through at a higher price than when they put it in the cart.

Yes, you may be right. It makes sense. Thank you.

The price changed on the item.  Etsy was the buyer to review to make sure they still want the item.  It has always done this for years of the seller makes a change to the cost.
