Hello- I've been using the integrated app "Sync with Etsy" for Quickbooks Online for a few years now. It's the one mentioned on both Etsy's website and Quickbook's help page. I haven't had any issues with it until recently. Yesterday, I noticed that none of my transactions were being entered. When I did some more digging, I found that the app stopped uploading on the morning of September 22nd. I've spent hours today talking back and forth between QB and Etsy chat because both parties are saying that I must contact the other in order to get a resolution.
When I've searched for the app again, the page says it's not found. This was a very useful integration which helped me connect the financial aspect of Etsy and QB to effectively run my small business. It's concerning because both Etsy's and QB's websites mention this app "Sync with Etsy" and Etsy promotes the use of QB, but it's not there.
Either way, I'd like to know if I'm the only shop experiencing a loss of Sync with Etsy in Quickbooks and would like some help figuring out how to get it back.
Mine has also been down since September. I removed the connection and tried to add it again and now the way the data is being imported is all wonky and not at all like it used to import.... Very frustrating, can't get any answers...
Last year I lost 3 months of data due to connection issues between Quickbooks and Etsy. Both blamed the other. I had to rebuild everything by hand. I switched to SellerLedger, no connection problems.
Mine hasn't been working since June by the looks of it, has anyone been able to fix this?
Same. I miss GoDaddy Bookkeeping.
I missed GoDaddy Bookkeeping too, but I didn't miss the glitches it had. There were times duplicate transactions will pull in or things wouldn't sync at all. Similar to this QuickBooks issue I imagine. GD would point fingers at Etsy & Etsy would point fingers at GD.
I use the spreadsheet system from Paper & Spark now & don't think I would go back to an online system again, although it was pretty great to have expenses automatically added with linked cards! But having to baby sit the tech issues was stressful.
@TickleYourWitch The people who made the original "Outright Bookkeeping" which GoDaddy bought later now have made a new bookkeeping program called Seller Ledger. I use it, it is simple and inexpensive. Good customer service too. I'm really happy with it.
I found QB an absolute nightmare, and expensive to boot.
