What is going on with the star rating system??

Over the last several weeks, I have received a one star review, two 2 star reviews, and a three star review. In every instance, I have contacted the buyer and asked if everything was okay with the order. They all said that they were happy and were surprised because they thought they left five star reviews. They said they would fix them, but they all tried and either couldn't figure it out, or just gave up.

While leaving reviews using the Etsy app myself, I noticed that when I was trying to leave stars, the app was very sensitive. I had to go back a couple of times since it jumped from 5 stars to 3 or 2 on several them. This is so incredibly frustrating- has anyone else had this happen?

Yes, the forums often mention this as a problem, particularly on the app.

Don't use the app.  If you only have a phone to conduct your business (been there), then use your phones browser.  It's almost as good as using a computer, except tinier.  The app is not finished and does not work in a lot of instances.  Etsy should have never gotten rid of the old orange app.  I would have still preferred the browser, but at least the orange app was functional.

My customers using the app is the issue...and lots of them do, resulting in low star ratings made in error.
