What does "DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN" mean?

...and how can I fix it? I bought and registered the domain through etsy and I've had this issue since that day. The site will not load on any browser. I'm running MacOS 12.6 connected to the internet through an iPhone hotspot (I don't have internet service at my house right now and likely won't for the rest of the year - long story, not important) in case that matters.

I spent over an hour on the support chat yesterday only to be told this issue was out of his wheelhouse and he was escalating it to another team member. That was almost 24 hours ago and no one has gotten back to me. I just tried to open another chat but they aren't responding. I HAVE to get this shop up and running ASAP. I'm losing money by the minute here, but I do not know how to fix this.

That error typically means the domain name cannot be resolved, which means there's an issue with the hosting of your domain name.

@EclecticAvenueBflo: This 'error' is almost always the result of a misconfiguration - either with your local system or with whoever is hosting your domain DNS records.

"... bought and registered the domain through etsy ..." I believe that Etsy just passes you along to a partner, so you may need to contact the actual party you obtained the domain through.

Etsy partners with Hover for domain purchases so you bought the domain from Hover. You probably need to contact Hover for help. The help center has more info here
