What can I do? Etsy Bug Shop Location - Canadian Shop

Hi Everyone,

the last few days my shop location has changed several times from Canada to UK and the currency from Us dollars to pounds. I always go to settings and put everything back but in a few hours it changes again.

Anyone else?

Yes, now because I've changed it back - I do it every few hours.

my only suggestion is it has been changed when you looked at a listing and it has changed to ship to UK.  look at a listing in any shop and see if that is the case.

Yes! My shop changed from US to Canada. I just changed it back. It showed Canadian prices for my items. I most certainly did not cause that to happen, mistakenly, or otherwise.

Edited to add: Just my currency changed, not my location. Very strange.

Yes, it is strange. I contacted Etsy today because it is very annoying to change my location and currency every few hours.

I am seeing your shop in USD, as my settings are in USD. 

When you say you are changing your currency settings, are you doing that at the bottom of the page or for your actual shop currency through the shop manager? These are 2 different things. The bottom of the page version is what you see as a visitor; it can also be changed on individual listings, which is what has usually happened in these situations.

My settings are USD but every few hours it changes to UK pounds. The currency doesn't really bother me I just don't understand why my location changes to UK without me doing anything. Today I've already changed my location back to Canada 2x. I click on Account settings, preferences and set my Region and currency there.

@MadeByKatarina "I click on Account settings, preferences and set my Region and currency there." That only sets the currency/country you view in, not the currency you sell in. So it doesn't affect your actual shop at all; it only affects what you see on the site, not what the rest of us see in your shop. 

Change it at the bottom of the page, or within a listing, and it should stick.

Just an update - I've changed my password and since then my shop is OK, no more location and currency changes.
