Weird & unhelpful changes on homepage & with Favorites?!?!

What's going on with the homepage? Now updates from saved Sellers are showing up under Favorites, not notifications. Messages to me from prospective Buyers are not showing up at all on homepage. Notifications is changed to "Deals." Deals? Why the constant push to turn Etsy into a Flea Market/Garage Sale mentality? I thought Etsy existed to offer something different!

Now when I click on one of my Favorites, I'm no longer able to view the listing -- only to put it into cart to purchase. Huh?

You can still look at favories and you can click on them if you want to review the listing.

UPdates is now in Favorites.  Maybe Etsy has found buyers are more willing to look there then on their home page.

Not thrilled but not a deal breaker for me.

Heck even the fancy stores use words like Deals and Sales. 

My messages have been showing up under the shop manager icon.  Are you on a browser or app?  I haven't seen anyone remark about missing message dot in a while but maybe this is a glitch that comes and goes.

Thank you for posting this. I am a little ticked off about this as a person now has to do an additional click to find shop updates. When things get buried like this, users are less likely to go looking for them. Shop updates need to remain on the top page of Etsy. And although I do like seeing discount offers on items I like, I do agree pushing this to the top page over seeing my favorite shop restock feels unbalanced.

As an Etsy buyer as well as an Etsy seller, the older version was far more user-friendly. I could check on my favorite shops and their new items quickly. The extra steps of first FINDING where to look for my favorites, then clicking on updates is frustrating. I cannot imagine those shoppers new and old to Etsy would be able to find this buried information. I wonder if this is why I am not seeing more traffic when I post new items. I agree that shop updates should remain on the top page of Etsy and be clearly visible.
