Weird, I just got a cha ching but there's no order!

I just got a cha ching on my iphone but there's no new order. In this, my vintage shop I have no orders open, in my wedding shop I had 2 orders earlier today but I heard those cha-chings already & those were hours ago. I saw the etsy notice pop up on my iPhone, swiped it and it brought me to my wedding shop but there's only the earlier orders, nothing new. 

Is this a notification glitch? Anyone else experience this?

Or is there an order floating about in Etsy cyberspace and I'm going to have an angry customer because I don't see their order?

Yesterday and today, I've had lots of sales. I see them come in and if I quickly go to my stats, I can see them and then a couple minutes later they have disappeared.

I'm SO late to this convo, but I'm having this problem right now :((. I don't have the app, just work from my laptop. I got a message from the customer to say she's purchased one of my dresses, no order details have come up at all and the dress is still an available listing. Maybe I just need to wait a few more hours??

@OldFangledShoppe  This is a separate issue.  Either wait for the order to show up, or there may be an issue on the Buyer's end.

Sometimes, with payment methods like Paypal or KLarna, the Buyer needs to return to Etsy to complete the sale - easy to miss that final step.

Ask them if it's showing on their Etsy account under their purchases.  If not, tell them to try again!

Something similar has happened to me. I never heard a cha-ching or saw where someone purchased something, but etsy is showing that I have a new order?

I got a Cha Ching about and order. But nothing has been ordered as far as I can see. Hopefully a glitch otherwise I’ve lost a sale and now’ll receive negative feedback

Same thing happened to me.  No sale on any sites that I sell on.   Strange things are happening at Betsy.   2/3rds of my listing's disappeared this weekend.  My bills are current, not selling anything they say I can't.  Total cost I lost on listing's was around 40.00 anyone else have this problem.  Etsy tried to tell me I was selling an illegal item.   Dishes, glasses, cross stich. We all wmaell these items

Check your expired folder. There was a glitch where listings were not expiring for weeks, months, even years. Etsy fixed it April 1st by expiring them all. If you want to renew you can.
