Website misconfiguration?

I ordered business cards with a QR code to my Etsy shop. When the QR code is scanned a message comes up stating “This Connection Is Not Private” and warning people that the page may be impersonating my Etsy website to steal financial information, and to close the page. When I click on a “show details” option that’s available, it says that “Safari warns you when a website has a certificate that is not valid. This may happen if the website is misconfigured or an attacker has compromised your connection.”

I contacted the company I ordered the business cards from and where the QR code was generated and they  advised me to contact Etsy. I’m fairly new on Etsy so not sure what the best way to handle this is. How can this website issue be resolved? My potential clients should be able to be directed to my Etsy page without concerns that their financial information will be stolen. I appreciate any assistance I can get.

Re: Website misconfiguration?

Sounds like you gave them the url that appears when you were logged into your shop.  That won't work for customers, it needs a log in.  The general url you should be using for marketing is moanpa.etsy.com.
