Webshield is blocking community.Etsy.com

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this. My computer is blocking the forum website, reporting high activity of phishing and has been declared dangerous. (Started about an hour ago)

This has never happened with the forum website from my computer, so contacted Etsy who informed me they would be passing it to the right team.

I can now only access the forum from one of my devices which holds no data, but wanted to make everyone aware not to click on any links in the forum (received permission from Etsy chat to warn others)

if a seller if asking you to check their shop search the name in the Etsy site instead of clicking on links. Might be overacting but the security on my pc rarely blocks known sites and rarely prompts a deep scan as a result.

I noticed the same thing.

I restarted my computer, cleared cookies… still the same.

Might not be connected but just received an email from instagram to say I requested a password reset, which I did not

Could just be false positives on Webshield's side.

I was having the same thing on a couple of different sites. I uninstalled Avast and now everything works just fine.

Yup, my computer will not let me use the forums, but my tablet will, both are using Chrome,

I had AVG - just the free version.  I uninstalled it and now everything is fine.

My pc still won’t let me access the forum saying the domain has been taken over by url:phishing 

does not matter which browser I use.

Sent an email requesting information that it is a false positive, waiting to hear back

Something must have changed at Etsy, as I can now access the forums on my computer. I didn't make any changes to my security programs.

Yes, same here until I did update Windows. Now I have access. Very strange!

Thought the forum was down as I was unable to connect to it from my PC using an old version of Chrome. 

However,  had no problem using Edge on a laptop, and iPad using Safari is also fine.

This happened to me this morning, but it was AVG Antivirus that blocked the forums saying they were a phishing threat. I updated AVG, then restarted my laptop and was able to access the forums again.

Cela m'est arrivé hier et effectivement, mêmes messages d'avast et d'instagram. Impossible de me connecter à cause d'un soi disant problème de phishing. Ce matin, j'ai tout repris du début et ça marche!

Thank you @MoodyLoch checked my security updates and there was indeed one not installed (even though it is set to update automatically)

Installed the security update, restarted and all is good now.
