When will this problem be fixed? This is so inconvenient!

If it's still not working it might be time to find an alternate service.  If you are in the US, you can go to USPS and buy labels.  It's been a while since I purchased a label direct from USPS, but I'm pretty sure you get the commercial rates (same as etsy) if you buy online.  

Of try PirateShip.  Lots of etsy shops use them for labels and speak highly of their prices and service.

You can only buy priority and above, express etc labels on the USPS site.

I recently learned Pirateship also has an Etsy integration that someone on here told me about.  I do everything through Pirateship now.  Automatically updates orders to complete on Etsy, uploads tracking numbers, notifies customers and everything.

@PersonalizedSmiles PirateShip has no monthly fee.  The rates are the same or better than Etsy.    PirateShip also offers UPS and a solid discount rate.  The customer service is outstanding.

I integrated etsy and ebay to pirateship and all of my orders now show up in ONE place.  Rates are great too, especially the Simple Export Rate for overseas items (from the US).

you may want to check out pirateship, they offer postage for ups and usps.  it integrates with etsy (and shopify,  ebay, etc.) and imports your open orders with one click.  after i buy postage it marks the item as shipped, and triggers the automated message to the customer that their order has shipped and includes the tracking number. it doesn’t require a monthly fee and is free to use (although i can’t believe they won’t go to a subscription based service at some point and i will happily join.)

when i signed up a few years ago you had to use their chat feature (which actually works all of the time!) and ask them to switch on “cube rates” but it just takes a second and you only have to do it once. i know i must sound like i’m doing a commercial for them but i’m not associated with them in any way, just love the savings.

@PersonalizedSmiles there's no monthly fee and for first class I think they are about the same as Etsy.. I have heard for international orders they have better pricing but I haven't had an order to compare.

I did a "chat" with Etsy help last night and ended up able to purchase and print my labels.  The person just said they were working on it from their end but did not describe the "fix".

I was so happy to be able to finish my order that I forgot to ask how it worked!

When you have all your orders checked that you want to print click "Get Shipping Labels", when nothing happens refresh your page. I did that twice and the labels popped up and I was able to print them.

Pirate ship takes minutes to set up (I never did the integration) - you pay a chunk of $ - like $50, to keep on account there to pay for your postage, when it runs out, it takes another $50 from your credit card you give them. (It's been a while, I forget how that part worked to set up)
