Views specific to items in shop

Hello! I am not sure that my views are populating. Example it says I have views but then when I go to investigate what items are being viewed they say 0. Anyone notice this?

Extend the time frame for stats. Also, someone may just be viewing your shop and not a specific listing.

Yes, the default is just today on stats overview. Make for a longer period of time.

Yes I know how to do that was just curious why it was not showing what was being viewed today.

@CoopersCreativeNook; As best as can be determined, Etsy stats are not live so same day stats are always iffy. If you absolutely need live stats, you should link Google analytics to your shop.

On your product listing pages, in the upper right corner is a slider. Turn that on and it will then give you stats for each product for the last 30 days.

Views are in real time, visits are not.  The only time Etsy stats have any chance of being correct are at the time of a stats update or the next day.  

Views don't have to be of a specific listing.  They can be of any page (home, about, policies, etc.) in your shop.  I know I very seldom click on specific listings.  I just look at the pretty pictures on the page.  An item has to really grab me for me to click it.
